Hi. My name is Ari. I draw stuff.

I don't have a particular/personal style or medium I stick to, since my influences are all over the place. But I can mimic many existing styles for fandom-related requests, which is a plus. My favorite genres to tinker with are on the cartoony side, but I'll draw/paint pretty much anything, and I'm always looking to improve my techniques.

[Things I'm working on]
- Slowly rebuilding my portfolio. To practice I tend to lurk in game forums doing avi art for people, or making NPC/crossover fan-art (Gaia, MLP, Pokemon, certain anime/manga stuff).
- Scanning the buttload of sketches and non-digital art pieces I have piling up.
- Redrawing older art that I like, but feel I can improve on now.
- Getting back into creating custom profile CSS/graphics for sites like Gaia Online.
- Playing with sprite sheets and backgrounds for Visual Novels. It's a niche market, but also a fun one.

[Things To Note]
- I deal with a lot of mental crap (depression, anxiety, etc), so that's why it seems like I disappear for long periods of time. If you know the phrase "I don't have enough spoons", you get what I mean.
- I don't forget about commissions or requests. I have a constant queue in my head, but Life (see above) can get in the way of keeping projects rolling.

I sign/WM my art a few different ways, but the main aliases you'll see are Arynaria, AriStarry or ArtByAri if I'm linking to dA. (Also AriKatt for the reeeeally old stuff, but I retired that sn years ago.) The first one is my main, and where you can reach me on Gmail and Gaia.
